People who are attending interview of UPSC meteorologist they should note that interview panel is not asking question related to Meteorology. This time UPSC has placed all members of technical background.
They are asking purely technical questions and that to practical related things. So please prepare at least 3 technical subjects. They did not ask any hr questions nor any current affairs.Most of Interview is over only interview of EC discipline is remaining, so this post is only useful for EC discipline candidates.
Some of questions asked to me are as follows:
What is your favourite subject?
Give some examples of Inductive type transducers..
What is LVDT, RVDT Principle?
How thermocouple works? What is Principle ?
How will you check a fuse through multimeter?
How will you measure current through multimeter?
NOTE: Some of my friends told me that they are also asking questions related to final year Project although they did not ask this to me.
They are not in hurry, they are giving full time to respond you. also prepare for drawing some block diagram and circuits .
Atleast 20 minute they r taking for 1 candidate so there is enough chance to explore and sometimes if u don’t know the answer they r providing hint.
